3 weeks my dear

3 glorious weeks have past since our little bambino arrived. I'm trying my hardest to relish each and every moment... for in a blink of an eye my little lady will be growing and these days may begin to fade. To keep these memories alive and well I have 1.) this blog. 2.) scrapbook 3.) weekly portrait session with the help of my husband. I have so many little things I want to make for her, for her room, and for keepsakes. My mind has just been running wild thanks to pinterest. As for now, Julia, you are eating like a champ. You had your first major vomit session over the back of mommy's shoulder leaving the most distasteful smell in my hair...although I'm pretty sure I can get used to that. You are as pleasant as one little 3 week old beauty can be. You don't give mommy or daddy a very hard time. I can tell when you're either hungry or tired. You are starting to be startled by your big brother's (with 4 legs) bark, in fact, he woke you up 2 times last evening. GRRRRRR! You made a special little visit with your great-grandma, AKA nanny, and great aunt, AKA aunt brendie this week and special lunch break with Nee-Nee!! You seem especially in love with Nanny's lap, maybe you really like her voice and her telling you what she ate that day! ;-) Get used to it sweetheart... you'll be hearing a lot about food and such. We had a little lunch at Red Robin (one of daddy's favorite places of all time) without daddy today. You pretty much slept your heart out. The weather is beautiful and fall like- perfect for walking with winslow in the afternoon and with daddy when he gets home from work. You seem to like your snugli wrap the best... it just makes daddy and I feel like kangaroos-- we love it! Here's to a great long weekend with you and daddy!
